Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-20T19:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-06-20T19:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
U: Unknown
Note: Faint, narrow CME visible to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source is likely beyond the east limb. Field line movement and brightening loops can be seen in SDO AIA 193 around 2024-06-20T18:04Z. An additional candidate source beyond the east limb is seen as material departing beyond the east limb in GOES SUVI 304 at 2024-06-20T19:08Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

The plane of sky method was chosen for this measurement due to lack of source eruption longitude and no measurable leading edge in STEREO A COR2 imagery. |
